As a startup studio, we find it is crucial to bring experienced specialists and young professionals together in order to achieve the highest level of creativity and agility of a business. We believe that a carefully selected and well integrated Team is a key to success.
Hence, we would like to introduce you our new Team Member: Hannah McKeown. She will be interning with us in Q3&Q4 2020.

Hannah McKeown
Hannah is studying International Business with French at Queen’s University Belfast, currently on her Erasmus year abroad. She is starting her placement remotely in Belfast due to the current COVID situation but is looking forward to meeting the team in person when the time is right.
She has a passion for sustainable business practices and was previously working with local sustainable start-ups on their branding and marketing content. Hannah enjoys the arts, especially stage plays and cinema, thanks to her love of drama and theatre as a child.
When asked what are her expectations with regard to her time at adVentures, Hannah said: My goal throughout my internship here at adVentures is to ultimately push myself outside of my comfort zone, to learn new skills and get some life experience that will help me in my future roles, maybe even in my own start-up one day. Being hands-on in challenging tasks is very important to me, as it enables me to learn for myself and be independent.

What would you like to do later in life? Where do you see yourself?
I’d love to continue my studies and do a master’s degree, possibly in marketing. A huge goal of mine is to see the world, so that is high up on my to-do list as well. Professionally, I can see myself securing a position in marketing with the aim of creating more space for diversity and inclusion, particularly in fashion or beauty, as this is something I feel passionately about. Later down the line, I envision myself creating my own start-up business focused on sustainability in fashion or beauty.
Instead of letting your hardships and failures discourage or exhaust you, let them inspire you. Let them make you even hungrier to succeed.
