Apparently, the incubator and studio models look similar. They cooperate with start-ups to help them growing, getting funded and operate. They allow them to benefit from their network.
However, studios and incubators actually fundamentally differ.
An incubator recruits start-ups already created and hosts them. However, an incubator doen’t take a significant stake in the company. On the other hand, a start-up studio, or a venture builder, will concretize an idea, create the start-up, take a substantial share in the company and drive the development.
